A Turning Point

June 1 – a date that could prove to be a turning point in my life because of two significant choices made. The first choice was made on June 1, 2014 when I launched my blog site, Lata Wonders. The second choice was made a few months ago when I decided to hang up my boots as CMO, Sterling Holiday Resorts. But that choice and its impact on my life really begins today on June 1, 2015.

I woke up this morning reflecting on the aforesaid and was startled at the coincidence that both choices were coming together on the same date of June 1 because I certainly didn’t plan it that way. As a result, I am feeling a bit like Alice when she said, “Curiouser and curiouser” (Alice in Wonderland by Lewis Carroll).

I am also feeling as if I am now about to step into the wonderland of writing full-time. Where will it lead me?

I can only quote William Shakespeare from his Julius Caesar here:

There is a tide in the affairs of men.
Which, taken at the flood, leads on to fortune;
Omitted, all the voyage of their life
Is bound in shallows and in miseries.
On such a full sea are we now afloat,
And we must take the current when it serves,
Or lose our ventures.

I have no idea where my writing will take me.

I only know that writing gives me a great deal of happiness. And I can’t believe that today on June 1, 2015, I have accomplished a full year of blogging, publishing 112 posts.

Reflecting on that, I thought why not list the posts that particularly left me feeling satisfied as a writer?

Here they are…I have chosen 6 posts.

Do browse through, dear reader, and let me know which one is your personal favourite by leaving a comment.
